I'm back with another summer wedding! This time it was with Sarah and Micheal who got married at Islington Town Hall in London. Their reception, speeches, meal and first dance were held at St John Restaurant in the Barbican area of London.
Sarah got ready at the Zetter Townhouse, Clerkenwell and she wore a Stella McArtney dress supplied by Morgan Davies Bridal. Her bridesmaids wore different shades of blue and green, choosing their own dresses to suit their personal styles.
The ceremony took place at Islington Town Hall, London which is a dream for photographers as there is lots of lovely natural light. The exterior is beautiful too and I think everyone recognizes the iconic steps outside!
We did their couple portraits on the streets surrounding the venues to provide an awesome city backdrop. Afterwards, it was time for their evening celebrations at St John.
In my work I speak a lot about a documentary approach to weddings and I think this wedding is a perfect example of that. There were so many sweet, natural moments between the couple and their loved ones. Here are some of my favourite moments from the day...
